![]() I have tried using the "Save to disk" only epub in a single directory and same thing. Can't seem to figure out where to Select Connect/ShareConnect to iTunes to connect iTunes as a Reader device. Your books are added to the 'Books' playlist in your iTunes library. Help! anyone know how I could send them from my calibre onto my ipad in a very much easier way? or at least the same complicated one but where I get all the metadata I changed? Select the book(s) to send from your calibre Library window, then click Send to device. I use Calibre's 'save to disk' function to copy my books first to a hard drive, then (automagically) to a NAS on my home. Second, using Calibre's server is not the only way to access your library. ![]() plus when I use the convert epub to epub the title gets cut off. The point of using Calibre's server is that a lot of the book metadata is available, so you have more than author/title to help you choose books. The thing is that when I add an epub to my ibooks the cathegory (genre or tags) does not show. Download Calibre Companion and enjoy it on your iPhone. then I just create a folder on my documents where I copy all these new epubs without all those annoying author folders in the way, then I just send all my 1744 epubs to my icloud and load them onto the ibooks app. Read reviews, compare customer ratings, see screenshots and learn more about Calibre Companion. As a reminder, if you’re emailing documents to a Fire tablet, any e-books you send will show up not under the Books app, but under Documents. ![]() Next time it has Internet access, your Kindle will slurp it down. So after alot of research - and probably there is an easier way to do this - I use the "convert epub to epub" first so my books have the new metadata embed into them. Click the book, click the email option, and when it says done, you’re done. yet I can't seem to find an easy way to have my epubs send to my ipad. The thing is since I have an old ipad (2012 Ipad 3rd Gen) which doesn't allow for any software updates anymore (last iOS is 9.3.6) and my cable is not original so my laptop does not recognize my ipad so I can send my books with the "Send to device" option. IN THIS CHAPTER Dealing with e-book formats Getting e-books from your PC to your Kindle Using calibre to manage e-books on your Windows PC Unfortunately. iPad iPhone Calibre Companion (CC), recommended by calibre developers, is three applications in one: - a superb device-based calibre library organiser - a high-performance WiFi-based calibre device emulator - a calibre content server and cloud provider client (Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive) 1) CC is a device-based calibre library organiser. ![]() So I have a very big library of books (currently 1.744), which I have in calibre, changed the titles (all in capitalize), authors (first name then last name), genre (in a custom genre column) and tags (same as in genre column because for some reason they won't show when converting) and covers. ![]()
